Resolution: Implemented
Closing the ticket as original issue has been resolved and nothing new has been
brought to the table that can't be fixed/improved via a new ticket.
If contributors believe that based on the merge into the codebase a new
enhancement is warranted, they can step up and create a ticket. And if they are
particularly motivated to get the change in they can work such new ticket
themselves.
If commenters feel having an issue with contributing precedents, guidelines and
the responsibilities of privileged contributors, they should address the
community via the dev mailing list, not reopen a ticket and start complaining
and otherwise remarking via comment posts.
