Description:
Propose restructuring the OFBiz architecture to move applications out of the
main OFBiz framework — similar to how plugins are currently managed.
This change aims to:
* Enable developers to build custom ERP solutions without including default
applications and their 750+ database tables.
* Provide a lighter and more modular foundation for building domain-specific
or micro-service based solutions.
* Increase OFBiz adoption and flexibility by allowing users to leverage the
framework purely as an enterprise-grade development platform.
Benefits:
* Improved modularity and maintainability.
* Simplified upgrade and customization process.
* Enhanced usability for building microservices and custom ERP implementations.
