@He-Pin Opened #3273 for this. It keeps the registered-channel cleanup path unchanged, and closes the still-open `SocketChannel` directly when setup fails before `ChannelRegistration`. I also extended the existing failing `beforeConnect` option test to verify the socket is closed after `CommandFailed`.
