akka-persistence-r2dbc 1.2.0 (released 2023-10-24) implemented `EventsBySliceStartingFromSnapshotsQuery` (`eventsBySlicesStartingFromSnapshots` / `currentEventsBySlicesStartingFromSnapshots`). That release passed its BSL change date on 2026-10-24 and is now Apache 2.0 licensed, so the work can be ported. The query traits already exist in Pekko core 2.0.0-M4.
