### Motivation The main nightly build compiled against the default released Pekko and Pekko HTTP versions, so it gave no early warning of breakage from upstream snapshots. The Pekko 1.x and 1.0 nightlies still built older branches (1.3.x; the 1.0 workflow name also said 1.2.x). ### Modification - `nightly-builds.yaml`: compile with `-Dpekko.build.pekko.version=main -Dpekko.build.pekko.http.version=main` (see sbt-pekko-build docs). The S3 integration test job is unchanged. - `nightly-pekko-1.x-builds.yaml`: check out `1.4.x`. - `nightly-pekko-1.0-builds.yaml`: check out `1.4.x`. - **TEMPORARY**: `nightly-pekko-1.0-builds.yaml` also runs on `pull_request` so this PR's CI can be used to debug its failures. Remove before merge. ### Result The main nightly tests against the latest Pekko and Pekko HTTP snapshots, and the 1.x/1.0 nightlies cover the 1.4.x branch. ### Tests - Locally confirmed snapshot resolution with the new flags: pekko-stream `2.0.0-M4+190-2c035294-SNAPSHOT`, pekko-http `2.0.0-M2+44-7dad8c29-SNAPSHOT`. - Pekko 1.0 nightly runs on this PR (temporarily). ### References None - nightly CI coverage 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
