# Background Hi community, This issue is for #26878. ShardingSphere parser engine helps users parse a SQL to get the AST (Abstract Syntax Tree) and visit this tree to get SQLStatement (Java Object). Currently, we are planning to enhance the support for Oracle SQL parsing in ShardingSphere. More details: https://shardingsphere.apache.org/document/current/en/reference/sharding/parse/ # Task This issue is to support more oracle sql parse, as follows: ```sql CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY department_pkg IS -- Function definition FUNCTION get_dept_info (dept_id PLS_INTEGER) RETURN dept_info_record RESULT_CACHE RELIES_ON (DEPARTMENTS, EMPLOYEES) IS rec dept_info_record; BEGIN SELECT department_name INTO rec.dept_name FROM departments WHERE department_id = dept_id; SELECT e.last_name INTO rec.mgr_name FROM departments d, employees e WHERE d.department_id = dept_id AND d.manager_id = e.employee_id; SELECT COUNT(*) INTO rec.dept_size FROM EMPLOYEES WHERE department_id = dept_id; RETURN rec; END get_dept_info; END department_pkg; ``` ```sql CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY my_pkg AS BEGIN $IF DBMS_DB_VERSION.VERSION < 10 $THEN my_pi := 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288420; my_e := 2.71828182845904523536028747135266249775; $ELSE my_pi := 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288420d; my_e := 2.71828182845904523536028747135266249775d; $END END my_pkg; ``` ```sql CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY p IS FUNCTION f ( n NUMBER ) RETURN NUMBER IS BEGIN java_sleep(n); RETURN n; END f; END p; ``` ```sql CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY Integritypackage AS END Integritypackage; ``` ```sql CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION pipe_rows RETURN t PIPELINED IS n NUMBER := 0; BEGIN LOOP n := n + 1; PIPE ROW (n); END LOOP; END pipe_rows; ``` # Process 1. First confirm that this is a correct oracle sql syntax, if not please ignore; 2. Compare SQL definitions in Oficial SQL Doc and ShardingSphere SQL Doc; 3. If there is any difference in ShardingSphere SQL Doc, please correct them by referring to the Official SQL Doc; 4. Run mvn install the current_file_module; 5. Check whether there are any exceptions. If indeed, please fix them. (Especially xxxVisitor.class); 6. Add new corresponding SQL case in SQL Cases and expected parsed result in Expected Statment XML; 7. Run SQLParserParameterizedTest to make sure no exceptions. # Relevant Skills 1. Master JAVA language 2. Have a basic understanding of Antlr `g4` file 3. Be familiar with Oracle SQLs -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service. To respond to the message, please log on to GitHub and use the URL above to go to the specific comment.
