   ### Result

   **Review Result: Mergeable**

Both Agent E2E jobs now use the requested 40-minute timeout. No blocking
findings.

   ### Evidence

   - `.github/workflows/e2e-agent.yml:61` and `:101` are the only changes.
Schedule retains its existing limit; PR and manual runs receive the same limit.
   - Triggers, runners, build steps, matrix, concurrency, and cache behavior
remain unchanged. Forty minutes satisfies the repository's maximum of one hour.
   - Independent defensive-code audit found no added or strengthened defensive
constructs.
   - YAML parsing, numeric timeout assertions, exact baseline comparison, and
`git diff --check` passed.
   - Exact-file `spotless:check -Pcheck -T1C` passed: one workflow file
checked, zero skipped.

The intended tradeoff is a longer cancellation window for stalled PR and
manual jobs.

   ### Coverage

   Standalone local candidate based on
`528694260fcdf00ee50460d5116b4a13e9c3af2b`; local-only delta consists of two
replacements in `.github/workflows/e2e-agent.yml`. Unrelated changes were
excluded and preserved.

Reviewed the workflow timeout behavior against the explicit user requirement
through all three lenses: root cause and behavior; blast radius and contracts;
tests, runtime, and operations. Final convergence found no additional issues or
unresolved evidence gaps.

Checkstyle is not applicable to this YAML file; RAT is not applicable
because no file or license header was added or changed. All applicable local
checks passed with exit code 0. This result covers code correctness only; CI
was not reviewed.
