The build matrix includes Node.js 12 and 14, whose bundled npm 6 cannot correctly consume the repository's v3 lockfile. The latest Node.js 14 job resolves newer dependencies and fails while compiling static class blocks in `intl-messageformat`; fail-fast then cancels the other matrix jobs. Limit the build matrix to Node.js 20. This PR changes only the matrix, retaining the existing install, lint, and build steps. Validation: `git diff --check` passed. The same source commit already builds successfully in the Node.js 20 deployment workflow, which uses `npm ci`; this PR's retained `npm install` and lint steps still need validation by GitHub Actions.
