Please update this branch with the latest master and resolve the merge conflicts first. #661 has now been merged and changes the same download helper and tests. When resolving the conflicts, please preserve the attachment/error-response validation from #661, including rejection of HTTP 200 Admin error envelopes (such as code 601/500), and add the HTTP 401 session/permission cleanup on top of that implementation.
