Closing this as stale, per the repository cleanup of long-inactive pull requests. Status: the last commit is from 2026-06-18, more than three months ago, and the branch conflicts with master. The review requested changes and there has been no follow-up since. The problem itself (mutating the divide upstream for specify-domain) is still worth fixing.
