@wu-sheng, I was still debugging the above issue. I don't think the issue is from the downstream not being completed. I made sure all the spans that were opened were closed and waited a few minutes for the UI to update, which it doesn't. The issue seems to be coming from my usage of `ContextManager.continued()`. If I remove that, the error goes away but there appears to be less linkage happening between the spans.
