@wu-sheng actually OpenTelemetry has their options to specify the two modes as a specification of the language implementations, https://opentelemetry.io/docs/reference/specification/metrics/sdk_exporters/otlp/ also they have a collector processor in the pipeline to process the conversion, https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/processor/cumulativetodeltaprocessor. So this can be ideally solved in OTEL side and SkyWalking can have a consistent model, tho I'm also OK to add this in SkyWalking. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
