similar feature requirement.

   ### Description

BanyanDB's TTL feature effectively cleans up expired data based on
predefined schedules, supporting routine storage optimization. However, in
scenarios where disk usage spikes unexpectedly—such as a surge in data
ingestion, delayed regular TTL runs, or misconfigured retention policies—the
regular TTL schedule may not react quickly enough to prevent disk exhaustion.
This can lead to service outages, degraded performance, or forced manual
intervention.
