Just as a csv, xls or xlsx file can be uploaded to create a dataset, so should users be allowed to upload an ods file (ODF Spreadsheet) from Open Office or any other ODF-based spreadsheet vendor. That way the user won't have to convert the ods file to xls or xlsx or split it into separate csv files. **Describe the solution you'd like** Add a new option to the Data dropdown menu for ODF Spreadsheet, call it 'Upload an ods' or something appropriate.
