rumbin opened a new issue #16963:
URL: https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/16963

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

   #### How to reproduce the bug

   1. Go to **Settings → Alerts & Reports**
   2. Click **+ Alert**
   3. Select __Dashboard__ as Message Content
   4. Start typing in the __Select...__ drop-down selector in order to filter
on an existing dashboard

   ### Expected results

Any existing dashboard that the currently logged-in user has read-access to
can be filtered and selected from the list.

   ### Actual results

   1. By far not all existing and accessible dashboards are included in the
selector's list.
   2. None of the listed dashboards can be found when typing into the selector
field.
   3. Many published dashboards that beling to the logged-in user are not
included in the list and, thus, cannot be selected at all.
