The issue may be that the TrinoEngineSpec might need to override—reverting to the base implementation—some of the Presto methods. I do know that the PyHive Presto SQLAlchemy dialect fetches both tables and views for the [get_table_names](https://github.com/dropbox/PyHive/blob/master/pyhive/sqlalchemy_presto.py#L191) method. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
