   ## [SIP] Proposal for an <**Editing function of a typical research**>

   ### Motivation
This improvement will reduce the cognitive load on the user and increase the
speed of his work with the interface.

   ### Description of the problem to be solved
When we work in any of the tabs of the current research except the first one
and click on the "Edit dashboard" button, the editing mode screen opens. Then,
even if we have not made any changes, when you click on the "Undo changes"
button, the page is reloaded and the current state of the page is reset,
namely, the focus shifts to the first tab. The user has to remember which tab
he was on before, which increases the cognitive load.

   ### Proposed Change
Make it so that when canceling changes, in the case when the user did not
make any adjustments, the page does not reload and the cursor remains on the
same tab where the user was before clicking the "Edit dashboard" button.
