Digging into the commits history I found the one that added this feature: https://github.com/apache/superset/commit/b7ecb14230383da679a3f61e38faa33cdb5014f7. And apparently the option was removed here: https://github.com/apache/superset/commit/5f0c3204154df0e0f3fe944078119a4c03280cba, not sure why.
