@rusackas I think much of the functionality here could be done as a plugin/extension, to keep the logic separate from Superset's application logic. But I see there's 2 types of application plugin formats: [Flask extension](https://flask.palletsprojects.com/en/stable/extensions/) or [Flask AppBuilder Add-On](https://flask-appbuilder.readthedocs.io/en/latest/addons.html).
