Just to elaborate on this method, when I include "finance" in the slug string for multiple dashboards, then on the front end when I enter "finance" in the "Name" search field on the Dashboards page, all dashboards that include "finance" in their slug are included in the search results. This looks like a reasonable workaround to me!
