   > I am encountering this issue when attempting to change the time grain of
an embedded dashboard. I havent migrated my charts or dashboard from an earlier
version, they were all made in 4.1.1. My other filters work as expected. Why is
the guest user prevented from changing the time grain? Would it make sense to
allow an admin to select which metrics can be changed by the guest user's query
on chart creation? A config option to disable these checks would also be
helpful. Thanks

We've been facing the same issue here... all charts and filters were made
from scratch on v4.1.2, embedded using the superset-ui embedding SDK (CDN).
Everything works fine, but when setting a time range filter that alters the
time grain, we get this "Guest user cannot modify chart payload" error
(curiously only on BigNumbers w/ Trendline). Funny thing is, if I wait a while
and try to apply the same filter again, in the same session, the error doesn’t
happen anymore... I've read all the suggestions made on this issue and the
related ones, and I don't have a clue about what could be wrong.. I checked,
and the slice_ids are the same from the non-filtered charts. Also compared the
payloads from the time that gor the error and the time after waiting a bit and
didn't get the error, and they are exactly the same.
