I dug into this some as we have a bunch of datasets to "fix" and I can confirm this is definitely a bug in the frontent - if you inspect the payload on the PUT that updates the dataset the value for schema is not actually cleared out. and if we clear it out and manually replay the PUT then the dataset gets updated accordingly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
