It appears that to make LDAP/OAuth authentication work, one must set AUTH_USER_REGISTRATION to True (in superset_config.py) in order to allow syncing of Superset DB with LDAP/OAuth provider. This is understandable. However, 'AUTH_USER_REGISTRATION = True' enables registration path on Superset UI (registration button,etc.). There are numerous use cases where this is HIGHLY undesirable. An option to use LDAP/OAuth authentication without allowing users to register through the UI is very much needed in our oppinion. Thank you!
