There are two main reasons the Security menu (for users and roles) might be
missing in Superset v6 (master/latest-dev):
1. If you're using MariaDB or MySQL as your metadata database, check the
ab_view_menu table. The entry for 'Security' must have a capital 'S'. If it's
lowercase ('security'), update it to 'Security'—this restores the menu
visibility in the UI

2. In the latest master/dev branch, the Security menu items for users,
roles, groups, and registrations are intentionally removed in the backend as
part of an ongoing frontend migration. This is a temporary change and affects
all users, including admins. The menu will likely return after the migration is
complete

If you need to manage users and roles, you may need to do so directly in the
database or wait for the frontend migration to finish in a future update. Keep
an eye on release notes and changelogs for when this functionality is restored.
