Hi @jacobeatsspam and others following this issue, As @rusackas mentioned on May 14th, there have been quite a few import/export improvements since this issue was filed in September 2024 (version 4.0.2). To move this forward, could someone verify which of the 6 original points still apply on the current `master` branch or latest release? 1. Dashboard exports include dependent charts, even though those charts aren't imported at the same time 2. Chart exports include dependent datasets, even though those datasets aren't imported at the same time 3. Dataset exports include dependent databases, even though those databases aren't imported at the same time 4. Datasets still include the `catalog` key, which breaks imports and requires manual editing 5. `metadata.yaml` is different for each type 6. There is no "export everything" option, even though Dashboard exports include everything needed If some issues are resolved but others remain, please consider opening separate issues for the remaining problems so they can be tracked and addressed individually. For architectural/design discussions (like the "export everything" option), consider opening a discussion thread or SIP to gather community input.
