I've pushed an update addressing your comment:
* cache_timeout now allows -1 (bypass cache), 0, and positive values.
* Values below -1 are rejected.
* schema_cache_timeout and table_cache_timeout remain non-negative only.
Also, it looks like the CI checks are still pending because the workflows
require maintainer approval ("22 workflows awaiting approval"). Could someone
approve them so the tests can run?
