It's hard to parse this issue as it spans a few behaviors and versions but
some thoughts:
1. I have public dashboards that link to each other, that have tabs, etc.
and I have never had this problem reported to me. I've had these dashboard
shared since 2.0.0. Examples:
- This links to another public dashboard, you can click back and forth:
https://analytics.a2gov.org/superset/dashboard/rain-gauges/?standalone=2
- This public dashboard has tabs at the top:
https://analytics.a2gov.org/superset/dashboard/pfas/?standalone=2
2. That makes me think this is a matter of how the Public role is
configured. Superset recently added a public role to the base installation so
people don't have to configure their own from scratch anymore. See
https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/36548. This is in 6.1.0rc3 which I
expect to become 6.1.0, it might be in 6.0.0 which has been out for a while.
I would like someone to try out the public role as it's now packaged with
Superset and see if that resolves this issue.
