   ### Bug description

I am currently using Superset version 4.0.2 and am unable to use the
`get_time_filter()` function. Could you please suggest an alternative approach
for this?

My requirement is to perform a few aggregate operations based on a dynamic
date range, where the selected date needs to be passed into the query using a
Jinja template.

I also tried creating metrics for this use case, but while editing or saving
the dataset/metrics, I am getting a `403 Forbidden` error.

Could you please help me resolve these issues or suggest the best approach
to handle dynamic date filtering in this version of Superset?
