Side note on the logs/audit table. Generally probably good practice to not use the metadata DB for this in larger environments, but safe to assume most deployments out there do use it. Reason is it puts load on the DB, and compliance-type concerns like we're discussing here. Also leaves you with an ever-growing, append only table you should trim/archive periodically.
