URL: https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/42481

   ### SUMMARY

Adds the ability to automatically retry report and alert delivery when it
fails. Previously, a failed report would immediately transition to an error
state. Now, users can configure retry behavior per report/alert:

   - **Enable Retries** — automatically retry delivery on failure
   - **Max Retry Attempts** — how many times to retry before giving up (1–10)
   - **Send Failed Reports** — optionally deliver the report to recipients even
after all retries fail
   - **Failure Notifications** — choose whether to notify owners and/or
recipients on each failed attempt

The retry configuration is available in both the Alerts & Reports page modal
and the dashboard/chart email report modal, under a new "Error handling"
section.
