This issue no longer reflects the state of `master` - I was going to close it, but it looks _differently_ wrong now. The menu looks OK opened, but you can't see the cursor where you might be typing to find an option: <img width="585" height="488" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/5d41893e-addf-4dea-8283-cc50a0de9158"; /> When closed, there's a weird line-wrapping issue on the Select component.
