good call, thats the direction i left implicit. widened the docstring in 2d17bf4 to argue both ways: a miss on a just-created subject cant list it anywhere yet, and a stale retained membership only reaches ensure_no_lockout in commands/utils.py where the worst case is the caller locking themselves out. neither flips a decision for a third party. thanks for the careful read on both PRs. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
