### SUMMARY Bumps `anyio` from `4.11.0` to `4.15.1`, resolving [CVE-2026-63374](https://github.com/agronholm/anyio/security/advisories/GHSA-82r6-8w77-94w6) / [dependabot alert #1587](https://github.com/apache/superset/security/dependabot/1587). `anyio < 4.14.2`'s `TLSStream` encodes internationalized (non-ASCII) host names with IDNA 2003 before the TLS handshake, which can diverge from the IDNA 2013 encoding a certificate authority validates against. An attacker who has already redirected a connection (e.g. via DNS hijack or an on-path MITM) can obtain a certificate for the IDNA-2003 form of a non-ASCII domain and have it validate on the client side, defeating hostname verification. `anyio` is a transitive dependency here, pulled in by `httpx`, `mcp`, `sse-starlette`, `starlette`, and `watchfiles` (the MCP service's async stack). There's no direct pin to edit, so the fix is a targeted regeneration: ```bash ./scripts/uv-pip-compile.sh -P anyio ``` Only `requirements/development.txt` changes; `anyio` isn't resolved into `base.txt` at all. `sniffio` drops out as a dependency, since the anyio releases that satisfy the patched range no longer depend on it. ### BEFORE/AFTER SCREENSHOTS OR ANIMATED GIF N/A — dependency pin only. ### TESTING INSTRUCTIONS - Regenerated via the repo's own `./scripts/uv-pip-compile.sh -P anyio` (Docker, matching CI's Python version), not hand-edited. - Verified `anyio==4.15.1` imports cleanly and a basic `TaskGroup`/`anyio.run` smoke test passes, along with every anyio-dependent package (`httpx`, `mcp`, `sse_starlette`, `starlette`, `watchfiles`) still importing correctly. - `pre-commit run --files requirements/development.txt` passes. ### ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <!--- Check any relevant boxes with "x" --> <!--- HINT: Include "Fixes #nnn" if you are fixing an existing issue --> - [ ] Has associated issue: - [ ] Required feature flags: - [ ] Changes UI - [ ] Includes DB Migration (follow approval process in [SIP-59](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/13351)) - [ ] Migration is atomic, supports rollback & is backwards-compatible - [ ] Confirm DB migration upgrade and downgrade tested - [ ] Runtime estimates and downtime expectations provided - [ ] Introduces new feature or API - [ ] Removes existing feature or API 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
