Heya @msyavuz, quite the scope on this one. Appreciate you splitting it into one-concern-per-commit so it's easier to work through in order. CI's currently failing on unit-tests, pre-commit, and all three DB backends on the latest push, and the migration upgrade/downgrade testing box in the description is still unchecked.
