### SUMMARY FastMCP 4 removes `FastMCP.as_proxy`, crashing `simple_proxy.py` (used by `run_proxy.sh`) with AttributeError. Use `fastmcp.server.create_proxy`, supported by both 3.4.7 and 4.0.3, preserving the URL, name, and run behavior. Unblocks #44200. ### BEFORE/AFTER SCREENSHOTS OR ANIMATED GIF Not applicable. ### TESTING INSTRUCTIONS - In isolated venvs with fastmcp 3.4.7 and 4.0.3: `python -m pytest --noconftest -o addopts='' tests/unit_tests/test_mcp_simple_proxy.py -q` — passed on both; imports the module and builds the real proxy, mocking only signal registration and transport startup. - `pre-commit run --files superset/mcp_service/simple_proxy.py tests/unit_tests/test_mcp_simple_proxy.py` — passed. - Additional existing stdio entrypoint test failed on 3.4.7 because its stubs omit `superset.mcp_service.caching`; unrelated and left unchanged. ### ADDITIONAL INFORMATION No UI, migration, or feature flag changes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
