GitHub user raags closed a discussion: Add free form text to chart under a Info icon
This will allow adding information about the chart, for e.g. how to interpret the chart or any caveats. It's possible to do it inside a dashboard using markdown, but incapsulating the information in a chart is useful. The design could be an info icon (could be configurable icon type), which on hover shows the text.
