We've had several SIPs over the years proposing different approaches to date and time pickers, and I think that highlights just how many different use cases and preferences there are across the Superset community. It's difficult to design a single experience that meets everyone's needs. My suggestion would be to explore implementing this as a **Superset extension** rather than replacing the existing date picker in core. This would give you the flexibility to customize the experience for your specific needs, while allowing others in the community to benefit from it as well. We also have a place for sharing community extensions, so if you decide to go this route, you could make it available for others to discover, use, and build upon.
