Thanks for the quick review! Agreed, I think this is worth a 0.3.1 patch
release. Anyone on 0.3.0 who uses ssl: {} (for example ElastiCache with
in-transit encryption) has a Celery worker that can't start.
The fix cherry-picks cleanly onto the 0.3 branch, since these files are the
same there as on main. After this merges, I can open a backport PR against 0.3
that moves the changelog entry under a 0.3.1 section, if that helps.
