### Bug description **Superset version:** 6.1.0-b24ca07f ## Bug description When a dashboard contains a large number of charts/tables, opening the dashboard editor and clicking **"Edit Properties"** makes the page freeze. The UI becomes extremely slow, and eventually the browser reports the tab as **not responding** (页面停止响应). Clicking "Edit Properties" again or closing the dialog is also unresponsive. ## Steps to reproduce 1. Create a dashboard with many charts/tables ([~300+ charts — please fill in your actual number]) 2. Open the dashboard in read mode 3. Click **Edit dashboard** 4. Click **Edit Properties** 5. Observe: the browser tab freezes / becomes extremely slow / shows "page is not responding" ## Expected behavior The "Edit Properties" dialog should open quickly and the page should remain responsive, regardless of the number of charts on the dashboard. ## Actual behavior The page hangs for a long time (or indefinitely) after clicking "Edit Properties"; the browser tab becomes unresponsive. ## Environment - Browser: Chrome - OS: [Windows and Linux] - Number of charts on the dashboard: [333] - Does it happen with fewer charts (e.g. <20)? [no] ## Additional context - The dashboard with the same charts renders fine in normal (non-edit) view. - The freeze happens on the **dashboard edit** page, specifically when opening the **Edit Properties** dialog. - Suspected cause (not confirmed): the edit view loads/serializes the full metadata (chart configs) of all charts and re-renders the whole dashboard on the main thread, which degrades with the number of charts. ### Screenshots/recordings _No response_ ### Superset version 6.1.0 ### Python version 3.11 ### Node version 16 ### Browser Chrome ### Additional context _No response_ ### Checklist - [ ] I have searched Superset docs and Slack and didn't find a solution to my problem. - [ ] I have searched the GitHub issue tracker and didn't find a similar bug report. - [ ] I have checked Superset's logs for errors and if I found a relevant Python stacktrace, I included it here as text in the "additional context" section. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
