Thanks for digging into this. I like the per-category policy idea, and I'd lean toward the application-level route through `UserDAO.delete` over a migration touching every FK. A [DISCUSS] thread on dev@ sounds like the right place to hash it out (to at least decide if a SIP is needed or not), and I don't know of anyone else working on it, so its yours to "own" if you'd like to open up a POC (draft PR) as part of the backing for that discussion. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
