Hi @villebro, I'd like to work on this issue. Based on the root-cause analysis, the plan would be: 1. Update `superset-frontend/src/middleware/realtime.ts` so the reconnect flow explicitly triggers an HTTP refresh/keepalive endpoint to remint `superset-ws-token` if the socket drop occurs past the token threshold, instead of repeatedly hammering unauthenticated socket retries. 2. Ensure the WebSocket service returns an explicit closure code (e.g. 4401 / policy violation) rather than dropping the TCP connection abruptly, so the frontend can distinguish auth expiration from network drops.
