The thinking behind removing the '+New' and adding '+(Object)' button is to reduce ambiguity for experienced and new users alike. A CTA should have a clear action and result. What does create 'New' mean? An inexperienced user may not know what they can create with this button until clicked to reveal a dropdown of applicable objects. Additionally, since content in Superset is already organized by object type we believe that it's best to be consistent by grouping its related functions. ie. Dashboards page should include functions related to creating, editing and deleting Dashboards.
