Nice solution for previous error. In essence /etc/hosts have to contain localhost, it's a very strong default and many services relies on that DNS name, we had faced previously with redis error due to same misconfiguration of your OS. I have just checked https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43713445/selenium-unable-to-find-a-matching-set-of-capabilities-despite-driver-being-in . There are many good pieces of advice. No, I haven't such problems in my experience. From my side I would check compatibility first at https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/testing/geckodriver/Support.html , find your versions of firefox and geckodriver and compare. An architecture of firefox and geckodriver packages also matters - 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit. Both must have same 64x architecture. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
