Those methods are mainly for altering the operator logic at runtime. We have 2 versions: 1) DCM-based point-to-point change, 2) ECM-based (i.e. Fries algorithm). Both should be easy to implement given the current DCM/ECM support in the codebase. Do we want to bring back both? I'm curious about the use-cases.
