Have been working on this for a bit, have been a bit busier due to school assignments. Thinking of implementing fixes 2 and 3, but may try to implement fix 1(though it is the most complicated since it is cross-process, and prone to race conditions on changes). I'm going to play around with fix 1 and fix 3 atm, but if I think it's too risky of a change on my end, I'll prob just stick with fix 2 and 3.
