Thanks for the detailed review. I simplified the fix as suggested and
removed the `::before` / `::after` overlay approach.
The updated PR now keeps the existing dashboard border, adds the
height/flex fixes so it can span the available height, and keeps the dataset
resize-line border while centering the handle and
removing `margin-top: 400px`.
The diff is now reduced to 3 files, +7/-2.
