Partially addressed by #6075, which unified the two callers so the operator-add path obtains its Validation directly and removed the optional-parameter fallback. Remaining scope for this issue: the actual "painted exactly once" dedup (suppressing the redundant paint on add), which was deliberately deferred because it conflicts with the #3614 immediate-render requirement and needs careful handling. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
