   Mostly, yes. Most of the javadoc warnings can probably be taken care of with 
`-Xdoclint:all,-missing` (it's not really a problem if an unimportant method is 
missing a javadoc, but if one exists, then all checks should be enabled).
   I thought I saw a few warnings on the kotlin side, but I don't remember what 
they were.
   
   In any case, these don't have to be part of this PR.
