Vincent Massol updated XE-198:
------------------------------
Summary: Hibernate-based search doesn't search in page titles
(was: efficiency of the search tool)
Affects Version/s: 1.3 M2
Description:
Concerns the pertinence of the search engine.
I've created a page and I've used the WebSearch to find it back. So I typed the
words : "suivi" & "nec", and it didn't returned anything, even though I filled
the title field of the form with : "Intranet NEC : suivi temps passé".
was:
Concerns the pertinence of the search engine.
I've created this page :
http://intranet.xpertnet.biz/xwiki/bin/view/CRM/SuiviGestionIntranet
and I used the WebSearch to find it back. So I typed the words : "suivi" &
"nec", and it didn't returned anything. In spite of the fact that I filled the
title field of the form with : "Intranet NEC : suivi temps passé".
With Thomas E. we 've been testing something : we added the sentence "Intranet
NEC : suivi temps passé" in the body of the page, and then
the search engine retreived the page.
Our conclusion : the websearch engine doesn't execute the search in the title
of the page.
I think it should be efficient if it was done so.
thks.
Priority: Minor (was: Critical)
(Fixed wording which was too specific and not generic enough.)
