This seems to be caused by the execution of GWT in standards mode (see
http://www.quirksmode.org/css/quirksmode.html ) in gecko browsers since GWT
does "not quite work in standards mode" (see
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=1305 ).
The bug does not seem to reproduce with toucan skin though.
